I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were finished to a high standard, stunning, and well supplied with everything we needed, making the experience really nice and cozy. However, the rooms are on the small side, but the double bed felt more like a king size and was very comfy.

The staff were brilliant and super nice. They were all lovely, especially Katie, who was a whiskey expert and helped us pick out ones to our tastes. The service was incredibly hospitable and friendly.

The hotel's location was ideal for exploring Oban - minutes walk to amenities and sights but set back on a quiet street, perfect for strolling down to bars and restaurants easily, near the Vaults and just off the high street. Additionally, it offers a very comfortable bed, friendly owners, a cool little bar, and one of the best breakfasts we had in 5 weeks of travelling in Scotland.

The dining was on the modest side, with grab and go continental breakfast left outside our room door every morning in a bag with a very basic, sugar-loaded collection of items. However, they did offer delicious home-made pies and jams.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms, although a bit soulless, were stunning and well-supplied with everything we needed. John, the owner, gave us a friendly and efficient welcome, especially accommodating for two 6'3" guys. The service was top-notch and friendly despite the challenges they are currently facing, notably in the Whisky Vaults bar adjoining below. The location was fantastic, just off the main street, making it easy to stroll down to bars and restaurants. The dining experience was decent, considering the restrictions in place for ferries, with a variety of choices available. Overall, the hotel provided great value and a superb location in the center of Oban.
